The Golden J subcommittee would like to inform you that it has recognized Jesse, Sarah, and Ripley Berwald as the new Montana Section Representatives. However, the Berwalds have broken a major JKA rule and voted for Michigan State the other night thus forcing the subcommittee to reduce their voting power to 1/2 a vote. What was the score Jesse? Geah.
Harsh! The score, well we don't speak of such things around here. Congrats to your Tar Heels! Very deserving of the title.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the recognition of the dedicated Montana section. I would like to contest the 1/2 vote we have been given. Does it say explicitly in JKA handbook that rooting for a non-Tar Heels team is verboten? I knew it would be frowned upon, but to cut our vote....!

Glow in the Dark Ninja was pretty pissed about it. It got really political in the meeting this morning and Ninja was very persuasive.

Oh, I see. Well if it was Ninja who put his foot down then I won't argue. All I can do now is ask for humble forgiveness from his Ninjaness. And feel grateful for my 1/2 vote.

Hey I just got a copy of Alpinist Issue 26 in the mail a couple of days ago. Open again with Michael Kennedy at the helm, published by Height of Land publications. You may now be able to revert back from People as your Official Mag...seeing if the product is up to par. Thus far I'm pretty satisfied.
